Remind App:
Download the Remind App today to connect with the school and your child's teachers. This is the fastest way to stay connected with HMMS news and your child's progress. You will get information for Hope Mills Middle right on your phone if you use the Remind app.
A. If you have a smartphone, get push notifications. On your iPhone or Android phone, open your web browser and go to the following link: rmd.at/hmvikings and follow the instructions to sign up for Remind. You'll be prompted to download the app.
B. If you don't have a smartphone, get text notifications. Text the message @hmvikings to the number 81010.
If you are having trouble with 81010, try texting @hmvikings to 563-265-6842.
Logging into Chromebook:
username: student's Infinite Campus ID Number or Lunch Number
password: student's date of birth (mmddyy) example: 012011
Logging into Home Base or Rapid Identity:
Go to https://www.ccs.k12.nc.us/
Click on Home Base Login (IAM) underneath Quicklinks
username: student's Infinite Campus ID Number or Lunch Number
password: Email one of your team teachers and they can give you your password and/or reset your password if you do not know it.
Once in Home Base you will see the icon for Canvas:
Click on the Canvas icon to access courses.
Click on the course you would like to work in and you will be taken to the home page where you will find information about the course and the teacher. Click on different buttons to explore the class module and follow the instructions of the teacher to complete assigned tasks.
